Builders Guide

The Builders Guide is designed for owner-builders and licensed builders working with Scandi Cabins and Scandi Homes for the first time. While constructing prefab homes and cabins is a straightforward process with building components conveniently marked, there are specific considerations unique to the system that builders must follow to ensure correct installation and prevent potential issues.

Important:

  • Plan your installation during a stretch of dry days to ensure optimal conditions.
  • This guide provides an overview only and should be read in conjunction with:
    • Project-Specific Drawings: Refer to your project’s documentation.
    • Drawings of building components made in EU: A hard copy of building components made in EU is included in your kit.
    • Owner’s Manual: Includes the Construction Guide with detailed drawings and additional technical guidance.
